The medical outreach was well-received, as many community members who had not tested for certain conditions before got the chance to do so at little or no cost. This practical aspect of the seminar reinforced the day’s theme – true awareness comes with action.
As a parish, St. Augustine Catholic Church continues to emphasize the importance of not just spiritual well-being, but also physical health. This seminar reminded everyone that a strong community is built when individuals take responsibility for both body and soul.
The Health Seminar 2025 was more than just a one-day event; it was a call to ongoing action. Parishioners left empowered with knowledge, equipped with test results, and encouraged to spread awareness to family and friends.
It was a great health seminar where parishioners enjoyed every moment of learning, testing, and togetherness which made the day truly memorable.
The Parish Priest Very Rev. Fr. Simeon Iwu, Associate Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Christopher Dunkwu and the committee tasked with organising this seminar was delighted with the success of the health seminar.
